All Assam Open Quiz Competition (11-12-2021)

An All Assam Quiz Competition was held on 11th December, 2021 in the newly constructed auditorium of Dakshin Kamrup College, Mirza. The competition was organised by Usha Foundation in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Dakshin Kamrup College, Mirza. The mega event, which was being held for the first time in the entire South Kamrup area, was inaugurated by Dr. Nabajyoti Das, Principal, Dakshin Kamrup College, Mirza. Welcome address was delivered by Dr. Jilmil Bora, Coordinator, IQAC.

Altogether 79 teams from all over Assam joined the gala event. Out of these, six teams were selected for the final round. The team comprising of Dilip Kumar Sarma and Raktim Ranjan Baishya secured the first prize. Rubul Kalita and Bhupal Sarma secured second position while the team comprising of Shouvik Bhattacharya and Kamal Medhi secured third position. The team comprising of Deepjyoti Deka and Sayantan Saikia, Shayan Mazumdar and Ankurjyoti Sarma and Mridul Ram Kalita and Pankaj Sarma secured fourth, fifth and sixth position respectively.

The Competition was conducted by noted Quiz Master of Assam Dipankar Koushik. He was assisted by Rabendra Kumar Das, an retired IAS officer and a quiz enthusiastic. All the 79 participating teams were being awarded with Cash prize, bundle of books and certificate.
