Workshop on Creative Writing and Innovation

On the 8th of the February, 2020, a one day ‘Workshop on Creative Writing and Innovation’ was organised by Centre for Media Studies and Department of English in collaboration with IQAC, Dakshin Kamrup College, Mirza. The resource person gracing the occasion was noted creative writer and translator, Mr. Bibekananda Choudhury. The programme was structured into three sessions-

• Session I: where the resource person spoke at length on “Creative Writing: Contemporary Approaches”
• Session II: which focused on “Use of Innovation Language in Creative Writing”
• Session III: where emphasis was laid on Practical Creative Writing.

All the sessions were interactive in nature, where the noted creative writer not only delivered much valuable lectures on creative writing but also interacted with the students. He also provided the young minds with several practical inputs to hone their creative writing skills
