This general meeting was held under the guidance of Dr. Deepalee Das, President of Women’s Forum. After chairing of the session, objectives of the meeting were declared. Mrs. Bhabani Baishya, former secretary, read the secretarial report. Comment on the report followed thereafter. While forming the new committee, it was suggested that portfolio of Vice-president be created. President delivered a short spwch and with vote of thanks, the meeting ended. Around 44 staff members from the institute participated in the meeting.
Resolutions:
Prof. Pranita Kakati, Associate Professor, Dept. of Mathematics, was selected for the newly created profile of vice-president. It was decided that she would also retain her former position as treasurer of the Forum. Following members were selected for the executive committee:

Action Taken:
1. The resolution taken on 03/12/2011 was modified and t was decided that a fund should be created for giving financial help to any person or organization as a part of social service.
2. It was also decided that the mount of Rs. 7250/- collected during the year 2018-19 in the name of Karunadhara organization, was to be given to our student Ms. Juli Rani Kalita, for her cancer treatment.
3. It was decided that the yearly contribution for the forum should be raised from present Rs.100/- to Rs.200/- for the permanent and sanctioned employees and the same should be made Rs. 100/- for contractual employees.

Proceedings:
The executive meeting was held under the presidentship of Prof. Pranita Kakati, the vice-president of the forum. After narrating the objective of the meeting the resignation of president Dr. Deepalee Das was accepted and Vice-president Prof. Pranita Kakati was given the responsibility of carrying forward the activities of the forum for the upcoming session. After that proposals for different programs for annual event were discussed.

i) A lecture programme on “Student Unrest and the Present Society” by the Resource Person Dr. Jayanta Das, Psychiatrist
ii) Lecture cum Demonstration Programme on “Positive Attitude” by the resource person Mrs. Kakali Tamuli Goswami
iii) A lecture programme on “Youth and Women Empowerment” by National Ideal Complete Education Services (NICES), an ISO registered organization.
3. It was decided that the centre for annual event would be decided after discussion with the principal of our college and also with the Examination Committee.

The resignation of the president of the Women’s Forum, Dr. Deepalee Das was discussed among the members of the forum. The shortlisted options for the annual event discussed during the executive meeting were presented before the members present in the general meeting. The meeting was attended by 30 members of the Women’s Forum. Following resolutions were taken.

It was also decided to hold a health camp on topic “Know your blood group” during the celebration of college week.
