Lecture Programme On Implementation Of National Education Policy (Nep) 2020

The Department of Education, Dakshin Kamrup College, Mirza in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college organized a lecture programme on a very pertinent topic “Implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020- Its Problems and Prospects”. The meeting was presided over by the principal of the college Dr. Nabajyoti Das. The co-ordinator of IQAC, Dr. Jilmil Bora gave the welcome address and the objective of the programme was briefed by the Head of the Department of Education Mrs. Bhabani Baishya.

The invited resource person for the lecture programme was Dr. Dulumoni Goswami, Professor, Department of Education, Gauhati University. He gave a very clear and concise view on the different aspects of the NEP-2020 that made the faculties and students of the college comprehend it easily. He delivered his speech on the structure of education and the different aspects which have been given importance in the policy. On this special occasion, the Departmental news bulletin ‘EDN’ edited by Dr. Rashmi Mili was inaugurated by the resource person. At the end of the programme, vote of thanks was given by Ashim Ranjan Sarma, Associate Professor of the Department.
