A Web-Based Interactive Session on “Covid-19 Pandemic and Holistic Health of Students” was organized by the Department of Education in collaboration with IQAC, Dakshin Kamrup College, Mirza on 19th August, 2020. The session was started with an introductory speech by the convener Mrs. Bhabani Baishya, Associate Professor, Department of Education, D.K.College, Mirza. After this, Dr. Nabajyoti Das, Principal of D.K.College, Mirza gave his welcome address by highlighting the importance of the topic in the present situation. Sri Jagadish Sarma, Assistant Professor, Department of Education introduced the inaugurator, Dr. Debahari Talukdar, Controller of Examinations, Gauhati University. Dr. Debahari Talukdar in his inaugural speech said that students should not take over stress for examination as they have enough time for preparing themselves for examination. Sri Ashim Ranjan Sarma, Head of the Department of Education, D.K.College. Mirza and Dr. Gargee Chakraborty, Co-coordinator, IQAC, D.K. College, Mirza delivered a few words in this regard. Finally, the resource person Dr. Polee Saikia, Professor and Head Department of Education, Gauhati University delivered her speech on the topic “Covid-19 Pandemic and Holistic Health of Students”. She highlighted very nicely how to maintain a strong, healthy and stable life through daily activities at home during this pandemic period. The session was very interesting and lively and specially, students were very much motivated by the speech delivered by the resource person. After the speech, a question-answer session was held to clarify the doubts of the participants.
