PROGRAMS

On 28 Feb, 2021 Science Day was celebrated in the college campus. A seminar was conducted where importance of Science, Technology and Innovations and their impact on education, skills and work was discussed with the students and faculty members of the college.

Slogan Writing Competition on importance of science was conducted among the students where about 40 students participated.

Bamboo made dustbin distribution program (Plastic Free Movement) was conducted in the college campus in all the departments to aware the students to make the campus plastic free.

On 5th June, 2021 Environment Day a competition on environment activity- (iamafriendofenvironment) was conducted among the students where they participated with many innovative projects, Photo and video.

On 28 Feb, 2022 on occasion of Science Day a seminar was conducted with the students of the college.


MINI PROJECT WORK

Plant care program: We have started a plant care program where any person or farmer can send us the query to our email and directly visit our cell and we will try to answer their queries consulting with concerned expert of the field. (Email-eclimatecell@gmail.com Phone- 9854256262)

Orchid Conservation: With some dedicated students and in collaboration with dept. of Biotechnology and Botany local orchid collection is going on from the South Kamrup region which are being conserved in the shade house of the college. About 10 different species were collected.

Herbarium Preparation: Herbarium preparation of different plant species around and inside the campus has been stared.

Medicinal Plant Garden: A medicinal plant gardening program has been started in the campus.


FUTURE PLAN

1. Local fish Conservation in zoology museum

2. Student based survey in different nearby area ( Chandubi, Tea Garden, Fishing area)

3. Waste management program through vermicomposting unit.
