Historical Study Forum

The Historical Study Forum of D.K. College was formed in 2003 for encouraging the importance of Historical Studies among the students. The Forum provides a platform to History students of the department to hold discussions, analyze and review the historical events as well as course related queries. Under the banner of this forum, the Department of History has organized two lectures as well as educational tours for students having two papers ‘Tourism in North East India’ and ‘Oral History and Culture’ as part of the Skill Enhancement Course. The forum organized a workshop on World Tourism Day in collaboration with IQAC of the college in 2018.
