Two Days Orientation Programme for Degree (Honours Course) Students (17/08/2022 & 18/08/2022)

The IQAC organised a Two Days Orientation Programme for Degree (Honours Course) Students on 17th and 18th of August 2022. The two days programme was started with a welcome speech by Dr. Jilmil Bora, Coordinator, IQAC. The first day had six sessions of one hour duration each. Altogether six departments of the college, i.e., English, Assamese, Physics, Education, Geography and Chemistry participated on 17/08/2022. The following faculty members acted as Resource Persons: Dr. Devajit Das (English), Sunil Talukdar and Adward Steady N. Sangma (Assamese), Dr. Bidyut Das (Physics), Bhabani Baishya (Education), Isha Haque Ali (Geography) and Utpal Das (Chemistry). The second day was inaugurated by Dr. Nabajyoti Das, Principal, Dakshin Kamrup College, Mirza. He thanked the IQAC for taking such an important initiative for the benefit of the student community. The five sessions of the second day saw the participation of the departments of Botany, Mathematics, Zoology, History and Economics. Dr. Durlav Narayan Singha (Botany), Debendra Sarma (Mathematics), Dr. Nripendra Kr. Choudhury (Zoology), Dhrubajyoti Gogoi (History) and Anuradha Gogoi (Economics), all faculty members of the college acted as Resource Persons on 18/08/2022. Altogether 287 students from the above departments participated in the programme.
