One Week Faculty Development Programme on Moodle LMS

Mirza, 7th August: A week-long Online Faculty Development Programme from 19th to 25th July, 2021 on “Moodle Learning Management System” was organised by Dakshin Kamrup College, Mirza in association with Spoken Tutorial IIT Bombay. The organizing committee of the FDP comprised of- Dr. Nabajyoti Das, Principal of Dakshin Kamrup College as the Patron, Dr. Gargee Chakraborty, IQAC Coordinator as the Convener, Ms. Chandana Das, Assistant Professor in the Department of English as the FDP Coordinator and Mr. Partha Goswami, Training Coordinator of Spoken Tutorial, IIT Bombay as the Course Coordinator. A total of 32 participants from various institutions like Dakshin Kamrup College, Cotton University, Government Model College, Kaziranga, Sarupathar College, SMBS College, Sualkuchi, Pub Bongsor College among others resgistered for the FDP.

The learning outcomes of the FDP included knowledge of Moodle as a Learning Management System, its use in designing course content, imparting lessons to students, tracking the attendance of students, evaluating their performance etc. The Course Coordinator, Mr. Partha Goswami provided the day-wise schedule of the FDP and also interacted with the participants regarding their queries from time to time. On successful completion of the course, E- Certificates were provided to the participants by Spoken Tutorial, IIT Bombay with which the FDP came to a conclusion.
