National Webinar On " Bak Binyas Aru Axomiya Lipi"

A national webinar was organised on the 9th August 2021, by the Department of Assamese, D.K College, Mirza, in association with the IQAC on the theme "Bak Binyas aru axomiya lipi". The webinar was convened by Dr. Sunil Talukdar, Associate Professor, Dept. of Assamese. Dr. Navajyoti Das, Principal, D.K College inaugurated the programme and the welcome address was delivered by Dr. Niva Thakuria, Associate Professor of the Department. Dr. Biva Bharali Head of the Department of Assamese, Gauhati University delivered an informative and fruitful talk on "Bak Binyas". Dr. Kanak Ch. Saharia of the Department of Assamese Gauhati University discussed on Asomiya Lipi in great detail. Altogether 500 students and faculty members participated in the programme organised on online Zoom platform. The vote of thanks was given by Adward S. Sangma of the Department of Assamese of the host institution. Earlier the resource persons were introduced to the audience by Manoj kr. Das and Banashree Das, Assistant Professors of the Department. Jitu Kalita, non-teaching staff provided technical assistance for the successful conduct of the programme.
