Webinar on Asomiya Upanyasor Gotidhara (25/07/2021)

On the 25th of July 2021, the Department of Assamese, D.K College organised a web conference on " Asomiya upanyasor gotidhara". The conference was convened by Prof. Sunil Talukdar, Associate Professor, Department of Assamese and the welcome address was delivered by the Head of the Department, Dr. Niva Thakuria. Dr. Tarini Deka, Professor and Former Head, Department of Assamese, acted as the Resource person and was introduced to the audience by Adward S. Sangma, Assistant Professor, Department of Assamese, D.K College. In the conference, Prof. Deka delivered an informative and lucid talk on the series of Assamese novels and literary works from 1891 to 2021. Towards the end of the talk the resource person interacted with the participants and exchanged views and ideas. Dr. Nabajyoti Das, Principal, D.K College also expressed his views on the theme and thanked the resource person for his fruitful talk. Altogether 100 students and faculty members took part in the conference conducted on Zoom platform. Prof Sunil Talukdar concluded by offering his vote of thanks to the Resource person and the participants.
