A webinar on Digital Banking Awareness

Dr.Nabajyoti Das, principal Dakshin Kamrup College, Mirza inaugurated the webinar.

The Resource person of the webinar was Sri Gauri Prosad Sarma, Chief General Manager, Punjab Nattional Bank.

The technical session started with a brief introduction to the topic. The resource person spoke in details about different fraudulent means by which customers are duped and suggested precautionary measures which are not followed by customers due to lack of knowledge or due to carelessness. He also spoke on online marketing risks, payment through POS, net banking safety measures to be followed in a very listener friendly way. 198 participants who took part in the webinar found the session interesting as well as informative. The interaction which took place after the session was a lively one, where a lot of participants cleared their doubts and queries. The session which lasted for two hours ended with the vote of thanks delivered by Prof.Barnali Kalita.
