Sharing of Experiences on Y-20 Event under G 20 Summit
Today, on 8th
of April 2023, Dikshita Swargiary and Subhalaxmi Rajbongshi of 6th
sem., Eng. Honours Course shared their experiences of the Y-20 Talk Series
under G20 Summi, 2023 held at Cotton University in the Digital Room at 10.30 am.
Dr. Jilmil Bora, Hod English and Convener, English Study Forum welcomed the
students to the second such program organized by the Forum and the department.
Dr. Bora encouraged the departmental students to attend such programs for their
own benefit and for expanding their horizon of knowledge. A total of 07 6th
sem. students of the department (Ankita Das, Barnali Das, Dikshita Kalita,
Dikshita Swargiary, Simi Das, Subhalaxmi Rajbongshi and Tinamoni Das) attended
the Y-20 Event under G 20 Summit at Cotton University on 01/03/2023. Diganta
Biswa Sarma (Sahitya Academy Awardee 2020 for translation), Diganta Bora (IPS)
and Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi (BGP MP) delivered their lectures on “Youth, wisdom
and knowledge”, “Drugs and Youth” and “Indian knowledge system” respectively.
