Departmental BearerMathematical Forum, D.K. College, Mirza focus on the following fields-
- Take different steps to make Mathematics popular among the students.
- To improve and refresh the knowledge and duties of the students to the societies and to the department..
- Organize talks, seminars, workshops and Mathematical quiz etc by inviting resource person from different colleges and universities.
- Organize group discussion by the students and teachers on various topics of their interest..
- Making students aware of their surroundings and their own capabilities by organizing camps and talks by the students in different schools during vacation.
Activities:
- Two popular talks were organized by our Forum in different times and Professor T.K. Dutta, department of Mathematics, Gauhati University was the resource person.
- A Mathematical quiz competition was arranged by our Forum among school and college students.
- Two seminars were organized by our Forum and Professor Rita Choudhury, department of Mathematics, Gauhati University and Professor B. K. Sarma, department of Mathematics, IIT Guwahati were the resource persons
