1. Mr. Tapash Kalita, Student of B.Sc. 6th Semester (Major) stood First Class First With Distinction in B.Sc. final exam 2018.

At present there are two wet laboratories in the department equipped with reading rooms. A physical chemistry laboratory cum classroom with a number of analytical instruments are also available. There is a departmental library with about 500-800 books that include text books and reference books.S
