Webinar report on Contemporary Indian English Fiction

A Webinar on “Contemporary Indian English Fiction” was organized by the English Department and IQAC of D.K. College, Mirza on 31-05-2020. The Resource Person of the webinar was Dr. Bibhash Choudhury, Professor of English, Gauhati University. Although 98 participants were registered, a total of 112 participants joined the Webinar on Zoom. But certificates were awarded to the registered participants only. Participants were from 37 different institutions of higher education (12 Universities, 20 Degree Colleges, 01 PG College, 01 Teachers’ Education College, 01 Polytechnic Institute, 02 Technical Colleges and 02 Junior Colleges) of different parts of India. Among the participants there was 01 Principal, 03 Associate Professors, 33 Assistant Professors, 10 Research Scholars, 01 PGT, 01 Junior Lecturer and 48 students. As many as 24 participants belonged to institutions from outside Assam.
