Meeting No. 1:  Annual General Meeting held on 17th March 2021 at conference Hall of D.K. College, at 12: 10 pm.
Agenda of the meeting:  Discussion regarding the publication of E-Book “Jaimini”.

Proceedings: It was an emergency general meeting held to discuss about the online version of E-book ‘Jaimini’. The issue was raised by Dr. Madhuri Saikia and Mrs. Jaba Kalita regarding the tag line of the present e-book “ First year First online edition”, which was edited and prepared by Dr. Deepalee Das.  The cover page of the book was however, uploaded on Facebook on 6th of March 2021 by the editor herself, due to which a number of members were not happy as it is not a book written by the editor herself but a compilation of a number of articles written by different members of the forum. The editorial board also pointed out that in the previous executive and general meeting , the house accepted to revive the Bulletin ‘Jaimini’ and upgrade it in the form of e-book. However, some members were absent (due to technical or self) from the online meeting as it was in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic situation. This created the confusion among the different members of the forum. Thus, the decision was taken that everybody must be present in the Official Dakshin Kamrup Women’s Forum Whatsapp Group for smooth conduction of Forum’s official works.

Resolutions: The meeting resolved the following points:
1. The meeting has decided to remove the tag line “First year first edition” from the cover page of the e-book ‘Jaimini’ whereas ‘Vol. 1’ must be retained as earlier.
2. The meeting has decided that few lines or a message from the previous President of  the Women’s Forum, Dr. Jilmil Bora must be incorporated in the upgraded e-book ‘Jaimini’.

Action taken :  The e-book ‘Jaimini’ was inaugurated with the conditions mentioned     in the above resolution 1 and 2 on 25th of March, 2021.
Number of members present in the meeting: 25
