D. K. College Study Forum

With the aims of the upliftment of academic atmosphere among the students and the faculty members of the college by holding seminar, special lecture, Book Fair, reading session of individual writings of general nature, Dakshin Kamrup College Study Forum was formed in the year 2001. All the members of the Dakshin Kamrup College Teachers Unit along with the Principal are the members of the Forum. Respected Principal is the President of the Forum.

Giving the regards to the aims and the objectives of the Forum, it has been organising a number of lectures delivered by eminent scholars of the region, invited for the purpose. Besides that, the Forum has been publishing a bilingual annual publication ‘Mailata’ from the year 2002 which has received wide acclamation from the academic circle. The Forum is also actively engaged in the job of publishing a wall magazine ‘Prajna’. The Forum organised Book Fair also. Along with this, the Forum has published two compiled books.

The forum has published books that were written and edited by its members. 'Bipanna Paribesh Sangkatapanna Basundhara' is the forum's first published book.
